"Impressions" @ Chi Contemporary Fine Art NY

"Impressions" is a visceral and visionary response to New York City."

-Rebecca Migdal, Go Brooklyn

"Joe Mangrum has a rare and remarkable talent-- he can arrange anything anywhere-- indoors, outdoors, animate, inanimate, large, small, rock, scissors, paper, plastic, plaster, powder, dirt, dust, doorknobs, pennies, bones, bottles, batteries, liquids, solids-- anything-- makes no difference. If all of us could do what Joe Mangrum does, the world would be an unimaginably fantastic and glorious place."

-Alan Bamberger artbusiness.com

"Walking into Joe Mangrum's installation at Urbius/ Artium was an abolute kick in the pants. It was the richest fusion I've seen in a gallery"
