I used magnolia blossoms to construct this quick piece that took about 45 minutes all along struggling with the wind. In order to get the petels to stay, I bent them into an S hook shape against themselves then lay them together hooking them as I went. They shuddered on the ground but stayed connected long enough to snap this photo. A gust of wind came up and I just turned and called it a day. After a ride home to the Mission, my friend Anthony called from the Haight, he knew it had to be me that left the arrangement near his house.
